Look at the evidence
Compare a recent capacity decision with available records.
Identify knowledge the founder added.
Check whether another role can make a defensible allocation using the same information.
A case to think through
A schedule shows free time, but only the founder knows two staff cannot perform the specialist work. Capability information is missing from planning.
This is a hypothetical operating example, not a client result.Avoid a misleading conclusion
Installing a scheduling tool does not establish that its data reflects skills, constraints and commitments.
Delivery independence needs evidence from real work, including the exceptions that make the business difficult to run. A process document, quiet holiday or completed checklist is not enough on its own. Check whether another capable and authorised role can maintain the agreed outcome under representative conditions.
Your evidence check
Bring supporting and contrary examples. A self-reported answer is a starting point; these notes do not calculate or validate a score.

Does a capacity system remove judgement?
No. It should support informed judgement by authorised people rather than concentrate hidden knowledge in one person.
